I’m a Midwesterner at heart, born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. After 18 winters, I decided to forfeit my ice scrapper and sail off to San Diego to study Political Science and Journalism at Point Loma Nazarene University. While I have reported on an array of topics, my favorite stories to tell are in the spaces where art carries political implications. I believe that the profound impact of politics has been lost upon the masses, it’s my goal to help you understand the issues that impact you, unearthing what has been buried beneath jargon.
