I’m a Midwesterner at heart, born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I went west to San Diego for college and I’ve stayed where it ‘never rains’ since. I’ve spent the last 8 years of my life telling stories and reporting on my communities, whether it be through video or written word. I love what I do. I strive to be fair and accurate in my reporting. I believe that the politics has become inaccessible to everyday people. It’s my goal to help you understand the issues that impact you, unearthing what has been buried beneath jargon. I aim to achieve this through reporting on policy and people.
